Apps / StorageClean
StorageClean for Mac
A light Mac cleaner. Clear junk, find the files eating your disk, and remove apps along with everything they left behind.
What it looks like
Six tools, one small window
Overview
Disk and memory gauges, and one Smart Scan that checks everything at once.
System Junk
App caches, logs, developer caches (Xcode, simulators, npm, Gradle, Cargo), old installers in Downloads, iPhone backups and the Trash.
Large and Old Files
Files over a size you choose, from 50 MB to 1 GB, with a filter for anything you have not opened in six months.
Space Lens
A folder-by-folder size map. Double-click to drill in until you find what is taking the space.
Uninstaller
Removes an app together with its preferences, caches, containers, support folders and launch agents.
Startup Items
Lists the launch agents and daemons on your Mac and whether each is loaded. Stop your own and move them to the Trash.
Careful by default
Nothing is removed without a confirmation that shows the total first.
Your own files always go to the Trash, so you can put them back. Caches and logs, which apps rebuild on their own, are deleted, and a setting sends those to the Trash too.
A built-in guard refuses to touch top-level folders like your home folder, Library or Applications.
Collects nothing
No network access at all. No analytics, no account, no crash reporter.
No background helper and no menu-bar agent. StorageClean only runs while its window is open.
